Qt Visual Identity and website facelift (2016)

The Qt Company is responsible for Qt development, productization and licensing under commercial and open source licenses. Their technology is used by numerous Fortune 500 companies such as Tesla and LG

They were in a need of a new visual identity because of an IPO that was about to take place in May 2016. Their technology is used by thousands of developers and the Qt brand has been around for 20 years, so we didn't want to change the identity completely unrecognizedable from the old. The green color and their logo, the fundamentals of their old identity, were not forgotten, but given a new fresh look.

Qt is about powerful blocks of code that run anywhere on any device, on any operating system at any time. We built a visual system that reflects the same principles – a system that is based on one simple block that can conveniently be expanded from the logo into various layouts in a wide range of formats while retaining the same visual language in all mediums. The Qt logo has now evolved into solid sharp lines, revealing the new and energetic green. The font used is free font called Titillium – the chosen font reflects Qt's open source thinking and it can be shared conveniently with their partners.
